LiT Open Calls
Luchtvaart in Transitie (LiT) is the national research and innovation programme that accelerates the transition to climate-neutral aviation through 13 innovative projects. Within one of these projects, LiT Open Calls, annual calls are opened in which you can also apply for funding for projects that support innovation in sustainable aviation.

What is LiT Open Calls?
The LiT Open Calls project is designed to support the technological development required for the transition to sustainable aviation. It also aims to expand and strengthen the SME ecosystem within the Dutch aviation sector. While most LiT projects are carried out by established consortia working on specific projects and challenges, LiT Open Calls annually opens modules to startups, SMEs and knowledge institutions, enabling them to apply for funding for projects that contribute to the transition to sustainable aviation. The four modules each have different scopes and objectives. This scheme and its modules are issued and administered by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
