Launch Event Flying Vision Accelerator Roadmap

We invite you to the Launch Event Flying Vision Accelerator Roadmap on March 26

The Luchtvaart in Transitie (Aviation in Transition) Project Flying Vision Accelerator has reached its first major milestone: the first version of the roadmap for the aviation transition has been submitted.
On March 26 (from 13:00; location on Campus Delft), we will celebrate this achievement and share the roadmap with the community.

A high (green)-energy afternoon featuring:

• Short, sharp visionary keynotes; ranging from deep science and technology insights to real‑world aviation operations.
• Inspiring presentations by (amongst other):
  • Tjaard Sijpkes (Associate Professor – TU Delft) – “Thinking Beyond the Horizon … and what limits us to see it?”
    • Colette Forma (Director radical innovation – KLM) – “KLM’s strategic perspective on the path to 2050”
  • Short pitches by consortium partners such as royal NLR and Airbus
• Interactive mini think tanks with researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers.
• Hands‑on work on key research questions from the roadmap. Together we’ll lay the first building blocks for the 2026 iteration.

We are also investigating the possibility of offering an online participation option, so international attendees have the option to join the program remotely as well.

This is the moment to help shape the future of more sustainable, smarter, and more technologically advanced aviation innovation. The FVA consortium partners (TU Delft, Royal NLR, Airbus, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Royal Schiphol Group) would also like to express their sincere appreciation to all 2025 participants for their support throughout 2025 in helping the Flying Vision Accelerator grow into the strong and inspiring initiative it is today.
