Start event 15th of February 2023
The impact of aviation on the climate, needs to be reduced. To achieve climate neutrality by 2050, we need to act now.
On Wednesday, February 15, the kickoff event for the Aviation in Transition project will take place at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague. The project provides an additional boost for the Dutch government, research institutes, and the industrial sector to accelerate the sustainability of aviation.
During the kickoff event minister Mark Harbers of Infrastructure and Water Management will explain why this project is crucial for the Netherlands.
The Aviation in Transition project is carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and is co-financed by the National Growth Fund. The National Growth Fund contributes € 383 million, which is matched by an equal amount of the >60 participating parties.
The kickoff event will be attended by involved parties from the national and international aviation ecosystem.
